Thursday, February 10, 2005 Jurors listened to a digital recording Wednesday in which Scrushy instructed aides to tell federal investigators the medical rehabilitation giant's financial statements were accurate, after warning: "This conversation did not take place." While prosecutors claim that recording and others that have yet to be played show Scrushy was behind the scheme, the defense contends they demonstrate Scrushy's innocence.
